One thing that I found using it you really must turn off auto-mixture or the engine will quit in less than a minute of full power, that caused my first incident like yours.

I had automixture disabled. I'm guessing I lost hydraulic pressure.

While on final I kept hearing the alarm which tells you that your throttle needs to be advanced just a bit. The gear was down but it just splayed out once I touched down.

Joe, was your aircraft moving at the time, or brakes on?
In accurate models of (at least Hurricanes and Spitfires), running the engine without a heap of air cooling will cook the engine, regardless of mixture.
Nice crash model, Brian, is it always the same, or does it depend on how you damage it? OK, I'll dl it myself.

Only one crash model per customer.

I was able to take off but almost immediately the engine started to smoke and loose power, i tried to get back to the runway but it did not end well. There was an instance where with the brakes set and the throttle not fully back she went nose over and looked like that, but that had nothing to do with the mixture settings.

Hi Joe,
I noticed during the installation process, that they warned about auto-mixture resulting in a lot of black smoke.
