Should be enough to enjoy it.. I have the 206 dodo sim..
It's old hat now..
Maybe I'll up the 8gb ram to 16..

Hi Joe,
I downloaded that freeware Princess Juliana and installed.
Flew from TFFJ to TNCM in a Cessna 310Q
No sign of the problems seen by you, even at the settings which I previously posted.



Anyway, just to keep DaveB happy, I'm off to fly around the Eye-full Tower (in Paris)

I actually fixed my issue, An offending bgl. From another scenery package.
But I'm not happy with some of the buildings.. and the tower view ... Is more like the view a groundhog would have..

Just open the ADEX with ADE9x and adjust the tower height mate. I had an opposite problem with RAF Binbrook recently. Tower view looked like I was up a mountain. Checked the ADEX and the tower was set at over 85metres I've reset it to 10m which is probably a little high but it'll do

So whose version are you using, Joe? I tried looking up the FlyTampa stuff, but at $42, I won't be shopping for it.
You only mentioned the freeware TFFJ, nothing about non-default TNCM. Like somebody said "why do I try?"
btw, I THINK that Dave's talking about Airport Design Editor (ADE) files, but what would I know?

Yup.. it depends on who makes em as to what they're listed as in the sim. Some are listed as ADEX, some as ADE and others with just the airport name. They were AFD's or Afcads back in the day. It's the bgl showing runways, taxiways e t c. It should have the tower on it shown as a T. Just click on that and change the height.

Mike.. the FlyTampa scenery doesn't show you the price until you hit the 'Purchase' button. It's then that you get the shock The FlyTampa_Maarten Complete set is 28 Euros. No idea what that is in real money. Doesn't seem bad for full photo scenery of three islands plus the airports of course. St Maarten can be purchased alone but for what it costs, I think the full set is better value

Still.. it's a nice package and to fly the area regularly, it'd be a 'must have' me thinks
