Hi Dave,
Several payware aircraft use FSUIPC, and install a version of it if none, or an out of date version already exists. So it could be he has it from something else.

Yep.. that's a logical assumption. I've asked him what models he's installed but he replied without answering that particular question
He's going for a refund from Flight1 for ATFX as their 30day money-back-guarantee may run out before a resolution is found. If and when he ever gets the freeware version working.. then fine but my cupboard is all empty of get out of jail free cards now.

Re: ORBX users
There's more to Orbx libs than just objects though. Honestly, if you read the support forum at Orbx, running the latest library is always the first thing they recommend. Your mate really needs to make sure he's got the latest version, and run it after all other installations are done, and after any future installations are done too. Even if it doesn't help, at least the possibility is eliminated.DaveB wrote:Much as I'm no fan of ORBX.. it seems unlikely that an out of date library would cause his problems. I'll mention it though.

Re: ORBX users
Haven't time to follow everything through at the mo, but if I recall correctly, you also have to have the latest Orbx library below any other of their products.
