Got rid by uninstalling the lot, I copied the back ups of the EurW scenery first in case it knackered it in the uninstall :) All working well again now.... eBay for the 9 DVD's I think :)

Hello,

I have been searching for the Scotland Central: Vol 7 scenery for quite some time now.

Would anyone perhaps have a spare copy or know of a place I would be able to purchase it from? I would appreciate any help or point in the right direction.

I think they only did it for FSX

Sorry if I did not make it clear, that is the one I was after.

This stuff is starting to get very rare mate. I've just had a look at the usual places and Vol7 is conspicuous by it's absence. It's a royal pain in the bum cause with the collapse of EarthSims.. you can't get Treescapes for it even if you have that volume so you end up with an odd central scotland :wall:

Good luck with your quest ;)

Thanks for the reply DaveB, yeah I noticed Treescapes 7 was only ever available as a download.

On a related question does Scotflight include a similar or better experience as treescapes for scotland? I heard they are the original developers of treescapes for scotland.

Also there is another one called Revolution X any one have experience with that?

Hello Mate :hello:

The only experience I have with Scotflight is FS9 and a 'partial' FSX (Scotflight Photo v2.1). FS9 used modified landclass for the Scotland area.. I'm not sure about the FSX version other than it does for certain areas.. perhaps for the whole of Scotland but I'm really not sure now. I don't do much flying up there these days and I only have one GenX area active (part 4) which has about 5 trees in total  Would you get trees in part 7 if you had the 'full' Scotflight installed (v3 I think)?? I don't think so as Part 7 would sit on them though they'd undoubtedly be present at and around the Scotflight airfields. Best thing I can suggest is to look on the Scotflight site and see what info they provide. Alternatively, give Iain a bell.

Revolution X.. ah. It promised so much. I remember it destroying one users FSX install so I didn't pursue it further. It uses default trees (and those dreaded white default buildings) so unless you're around a seaside area.. the UK will look very odd. Type RevolutionX into our search engine here to pull up threads that discussed it at the time. ;)

No experience, but there's a detailed description here, which you may have already seen:

EDIT I'm missing vol6, all suggested retailers draw a blank.

Thanks, yeah I might give it a go as I do not think getting some of the treescapes will be possible anymore.

There are copies of FSX Vol6 available from flightstore.co.uk I have purchased from there twice with no problems at all.

They apparently had Vol7 one or two months ago, but I was just a bit too slow and missed out :(

Also checking on eBay every day for FSX Vol7. May end up getting lucky and find one there.
