I don't know why, but that sort of paint scheme appeals to me, like the Dayglo orange repaints that Peter Watkins did for the JF Chipmunk. Maybe it was all those Vickers Varsities at Watton when I was a child: they were covered in the stuff, and it must have affected my development.

You may have missed that the chap who did the other two paints was going either away or no vacation for a while. No doubt he'll start again when he returns

Israeli air force bought and operated about ten units of C-97s and converted some of them to KC-97s. IAF used two different liveries for that plane C-97s and KC-97s. I like Israeli air force words in English and Hebrew on the plane.
You will NOT find photos of Israeli KC-97s because of security reasons (nobody was allowed to take photos of that in past except Israeli C-97s in commercial airports).
Out of all 683 KC-97s built by Boeing, only ten saw combat action and that was Israeli air force's KC-97s unless I am mistaken about USAF KC-97s not having combat action for America
