Hmm.. that's a move too far for me I'm afraid. I don't fly tubeliners anymore so I'll pretend I didn't see that

Looks like it might be a while yet.... This from their Facebook feed... "We have news for DH104 Dove/Devon fans. It is highly likely that the Dove will be adopted by a well-known highly respected publisher. Therefore further testing and development progress will be posted once all this is confirmed. Thanks for your patience, she'll be worth it we promise."

Hmm.. I presume this is due to the difficulty they're having pushing the Grumman F3F out of the door by selling it themselves. Because of the complications in tax.. only folk from outside the EU can buy it direct from AH. It's been sent to FSPS and PCA but the peasants are revolting because some days on.. it's still not available at either. I'm guessing this 'highly respected publisher' will turn out to be Just Flight given their recent links. Thanks for the HU John ;)

I have to admit I've never been a huge fan of AH. They seem to have upped their game a bit since developing for JF and that can only be a good thing. It will be nice to have an FSX native Dove/Devon to go with the Flight Replicas Heron. I just hope it's worth the wait ;)

Took a close look at this Heron Dave, do you have it, and if so, is it as good as the screenshots suggest?

Mike..

Are you talking Dove/Devon or Heron (as this is the Dove thread)?

If you're talking Heron.. http://www.cbfsim.co.uk/cbfs_bb/viewtop ... 10&t=26879

I also put a sticky at the top of this section informing members who want to fly it on the VA that they can contact Flight Replicas and buy a VA Specific model which gets rid of the 'lights' problem it has with FSA. Note.. this version is no different to the release model other than light coding and if you don't fly on FSA.. the release model is fine :)

The Dove is 'being made' by Aeroplane Heaven.. a completely different monster :cpu:

Hi Dave,
I was talking about the Heron.
Your pointer to the Heron topic clears up my question, thank you. :)

Rgr that matey

The overwhelming comment voiced by those that have it (and some that don't) refer to the textures 'lacking life'.. something that can be pointed to all FR releases in one way or another. Besides that.. it's a decent model.. as are the other FR models ;)

Dave - there's some work been done by GMan at SOH that looks to me to improve things. I've posted a link in the Heron thread.
