I've been toying with adding the A2A P51 to my stable. It looks a very nice aircraft.
My favorite aircraft of all time is the A2A P47 with Accusim (turn off acusim!, never).
The P47 is so well modeled I can tell when the engine is warmed up just by listening to the misfires, pops and farts
It feels like a heavy plane and that grumbly old radial sounds great.

DTR, if you're going to get the A2A Mustang, I recommend the civilian one. I don't know about you, but whenever I fly WW2-vintage aircraft in FSX / P3D, it is in the context of a restored warbird, rather than recreating flights and missions of the period. And that's why I particularly like this model, because what you see in the cockpit is pretty much what you'd find in a real one parked on the grass at Duxford's Flying Legends. It's fitted with a modern radio suite, a small but comprehensive autopilot unit, IFR instruments and a neat GPS installed where the gun sight used to be. It's been done so well, and so convincingly - I really wish they would bring out a modern warbird version of all their WW2 fighters.
At the end of the day, however, is it a good model ? How does it fly ? How immersive is it ? Well, if I had to name the best aircraft I've ever owned in any flight simulator, this A2A Mustang would be top of the list of candidates. The only thing I'd like to see changed is the revolving light beam from the red anti-collision beacon - it's the one thing that stops the model being absolutely perfect. But that's a very small issue, and I can happily live with it.
