Somebody tell me not to: the last three things I've bought from them I've uninstalled and found terrible. However, £9.99...

I'll be interested to hear people's opinions of it. I'm wrapped up in A2A's Piper Cherokee at the moment, so the Chipmunk needs to be good in order to drag me away. I can't keep buying aircraft that end up not being used.

Very tempting. I might have to borrow Colin's hammer.

I think Colin's hammer must be broken - I've just been unable to resist

Yes, well.. I got the email and bought it straight away too
After a 'very' short flight.. users will be thrilled to know that externally.. the model is no better than Rick's old girl.. the only advantage being that your prop doesn't disappear behind clounds/trees. I note too no levers modelled for the elevator trim (lever arms on the elevator itself) which are present on Rick's model but don't let that be an excuse for you not buying it

The sounds are uncannily like Rick's

Internally.. it's more up do date as it should well be given that it was released less than an hour ago

Nice and easy on FR's which is always a bonus. It flies ok.. bit of a floater when ground effect comes in on landing (eg, you don't.. land that is.. you float!) but as far as JF releases go, this is certainly one of their better jobs

Happy with the tenner spent (you get the bubble canopy model FREE as a separate download

) and will be happier still when the repainters have knocked up a shed load of paints for it.. presuming it has a PK that is (it does.. I've just looked)

Bye bye money.. I knew you but for a short time.. again

the model is no better than Rick's old girl.
We were very pleased to receive an e-mail expressing support and admiration for our product from Rick.

Admiration Martyn
I leg pull

As I said earlier after my brief flight, it's a nice model and will I'm sure be a success for JF.. and rightly so too

.
Poor PaulC had trouble with the JF TriStar and Canberra.. basically, they wouldn't run on his PC, so I'm hardly surprised he's a tad wary. I don't think he'll have the same sort of problems with the Chipmouse though. It's probably a little less frame hungry than Rick's FS9 model
You didn't pay Rick not to update his model did you?
