Yep I did notice the ones on Ebay, but its one of those things that would be difficult to prove if it was broken or not before it was posted. Easy enough to say if a switch is broken etc, but not if the stick is sending dodgy data. What's working for one man wont for someone else and would be difficult to p[rove to get your cash back. So its full wack and trusty amazon, so if it doesn't do what I want, I'll just send it back.

P.S. Set up Linda tonight with a very basic config on the old stick and it didn't seem to work. Pretty much pressing any button would randomly apply the brakes. Tried defining it in FSUIPC and it did the needful which is great. All I need to work out is how to assign the POV HAT settings as I think I deleted them when setting up Linda (I do have a backup though)

I'm pretty impressed. Some points to note though. The USB connector goes to the throttle control which is on your left. This might prove tricky if the PC is on your right. There is then an interconnection cable between the throttle and the stick.

There is a bewildering array of buttons / options and you can set it up pretty much whichever way you like. At first glance, the programming software, while comprehensive isn't totally intuitive. The supporting documentation is fairly basic and for me isn't really clear enough. I'll have another look tonight, but I suspect I'll try LINDA again, or just use the native FSX setup.

Which one did you go for in the end Ben, the standard or the pro?

I agree the software design could be much better! It does the job though.

The pro was only £18 more on amazon and with delivery on prime it seemed like the sensible choice. The feeling from the throttle and stick is very solid and precise. The thumb wheels will be great for trim too, if I can assign the wheel to those functions. I think I'll use one of them for fuel trim on Frasers panels too. If im honest, half the battle will be remembering what I've assigned

I'm trying to program some of the settings (in mode 1) and the option is "Fallback" where there doesn't seem to be a way to assign it. Any idea what this means?

Hi Ben

Fallback is what's used as a "default" mode. You need to set up "mode 1" first, click the box for the button you want to program, then press the appropriate key combo and click the tick. You can then give a name to the command. That shows up in the little display when the button is pressed. When you change to mode 2 & mode 3, you can re-assign any of the button to something else. Any you don't change "fallback" to whatever was programmed for mode 1.

Bare in mind that you don't have to program every switch and button through the software, only any you want to send as keystrokes.

I've set up my axis in FSUPIC and that seems to work well. The only two that don't seem to play ball are the reverser and the elevator trim, but I think I might be doing something wrong. I think I'm going to use FSUIPC for the keystroke too as it might be easier.

I don't think I ever set up the reverser You may need to calibrate the axis through FSUIPC as well.
