I'm not struck on Firefox.. it's a little too different. That said.. I keep it installed as there are a number of French FS sites that won't download to IE for some reason. That's the main reason I keep it

Firefox is more old-fashioned than IE, if that's possible! Two good things about Firefox: the fox logo and a download manager plug-in called DownThemAll which is brilliant for large files.
Most surfers are now using Chrome and it's increasing it's lead. IE and Firefox are sliding down to meet Safari and Opera. You could argue that just because something is the most popular in the world that doesn't make it good. But after using it for some years and still loving it, I'd take some convincing.

It makes me wonder if the increase in Chrome users isn't more down to the fact that you find it installing on your system with something else if you're not paying attention. It reminds me very much of a Bass Marketing Manager trying to tell me that keg Grolsch was taking over Stella across the region when in fact, the brewery were taking out Stella and replacing it with Grolsch. I told him so and he wasn't best pleased
Either way.. it doesn't matter really. There's more than enough choice out there and you use whatever you like

I still liked IE6 better than anything I've used before or since. It did exactly what I wanted (which granted.. isn't a lot) and didn't look like a phone

Been using Firefox for years now. Tried IE, Chrome and others but always come back to Firefox. That said, it's not the sleek athlete it once was. Seems to be getting a bit of middle age spread
