Four ex MALEV Boeing 737-600 for part out and scrap, until now only one -600 had been scrapped.
Scrap a 737??

Oh...I'm feeling faint! Please don't tell me that they had winglets!

Speaking Malev -
I recently came across the following incident, quite unique I must say...

Sorry in case you already knew...

Oh yes that one....there have been a few incidences of shutting off warning because they were doing something else and then forgetting
Test results over the year have concluded without doubt that landing are smoother with the gear down
Brian
Don't worry...no wing-lets so I guess it's not a real 737
They are being parted out, perhaps when a wing-let one does get the chop and the wing-lets are not re used you can buy one and mount it outside your window to improve your view

Or bolt it to your bicycle and use it as a wind sail.

Brian don't read the following. It'll give you nightmares.
Ben I'd have thought you would be more inclined to snap off the winglets maiming the 737 like a cat maimes it's prey.
It's a cat's way of showing mercy. ...not killing it right off.

For Ben's eyes only

...a peek at our newest set of winglets under construction.

No nightmares here, Joe. Although the pics in this link might give Ben nightmares.

you see, if the 737 lookied like a 757, with or without winglets it would look very smart indeed. As it is... well you know my views on the ashetics of the 737.
