Well, I didn't mean 'owe' in the literal sense, just for want of a better word to emphasise that the people are as important as the plane. Oh well, at least I've generated a bit of controversy, no bad thing

I think the 'better word' you didn't use would have been a better choice At least you've not gone off your rocker so that can only be good
The French hey Paul.. Well, I'm all for that. Premier Cameron and the little French chap across the channel seem rather hand in glove at the moment so who knows what might happen
I doubt Red Bull would be interested mate. Part of what comes with the sponsorship is a given amount of exposure has to be guaranteed and to be honest, the Vulcan isn't exactly known for being where it should be on any given airshow day. Cast your mind back to the days of Red Bull Sea Vixen sponsorship. The Vixen had a great many 'no shows' for a variety of reasons and I think this was one of the reasons why they pulled the plug. It's all very well being associated with a high profile project but the projects reputation has to be a good one. The Sea Vixen was very much an 'unknown'. I'd lay odds that Red Bull are more than happy not to have sponsored the Vulcan thus far
