Have we taken this off topic enough yet? ;)
Garry,

My last job in the RAF was Lightning Simulator Instructor on the Mark II at Leconfield...I had to go up to Middleton St. George to do the groundschool course and I got a couple of flight in the two seater T4...Here is the course photo:-

Apologies for going off topic...We seem to be a long way from the Anson 19 now

Hi Peter

Thread creep is one of the ways we get really good info on subjects that may never have come up in an other way :OT: Rules :worried:

To be PC we'll call it subject expansion

Thanks for your input

Seems to have sparked a wide discussion. Anyway I will live in hope for a late model Anson at some stage.

Keep watching.you never know and since DG's has been years on hold you could say that's a late model 8) :hide:

But seriously..if one does ever show up, it would soon get mentioned on this site so fingers crossed ;)

Thanks Peter. What a great photo. Your life seems to have been what I dreamed of as a kid. Vampires, Venoms, Hunters and Lightnings! And then another career with Viscounts and Tridents! A veritable Boys Own adventure in your own lifetime. It's a priviledge just to be able to post all this stuff with you. Thanks again.
