Hi JOhn..

I only have a second as I've been loafing for yonks. The easiest way to add something like this is to use the same convention as the panel it came from.. that is, the same window number, the same gauge and the same icon to pull it up. That said, if a panel already has multiple windows (fortunately, the Vulcan only had 3 so it's easy) if any of the idents used in the windows you already have are the same, you will get a conflict. Depending on the sim you're using.. the listing in the panel.cfg can vary (open the panel.cfg for the Vulcan and you'll see an ident against each window). Basically, if you use a window with the same ident as a default (eg GPS_PANEL) the GPS simicon should always work. This would have worked all along had you used the simicon set and not the simicon1024 set so don't beat yourself up about it ;)
