Cheers Dave and Chris

That's all it could really be in the end. FSX is fine without it (no it's not.. it's crap but you see what I mean) and all areas with the exception of Vol2 area3 load just fine. The good news is that Kevin Kostner has asked for my copy as it's given him an idea for another flop (err.. film) Saved from the bin anyway :agree:
Where to next *-) I dunno really. The set I have were doomed from the word go (the previous owner is still undergoing psychiatric treatment though a lengthy course of FS9 seems to have pulled him back from the brink). I could always offer them on ebay as 'The Global Warming Edition' if Kostner pulls out I suppose *-)

Bugger.. I can't say for sure mate. You have to put disc one in first to select the install then I'm pretty sure it asked for disc three then four *-)

Dave, just a quick question, is it the Version 2.0 DVD set you have? Under the blue VFR Photographic scenery logo, it should say Generation X version 2.0.

Hey mate.. I'm usually chasing ships at sea or farting about in Wales so I didn't know either

Ben..
Yes mate.. I've not confused the two sets ;) . I had to go looking for the v2 set to reinstall vol2 area3 this afternoon. As it happens, they were a foot away from me underneath my Pooleys  It's blue.. it's vol 2 and it's version 2 (Central England and Wales - though not Cambridgeshire) ;)

Ah, that is what you get for going to the dark side! Use the force Dave, use the force. I hope you can clear this up before my next visit there, I am not very good navigating around the UK in a boat.
