Hi Roger :hello:

I still can't get used to sitting in the back and not seeing much with aircraft of this type but I agree, this is one very nice model.. so much so, I'll actually use it. The modelling is of the highest level and the detail is superb. Just taken AIXJ out and I LOVE the silver side reg.. very authentic looking and something you can really only get away with in FSX.
Without a shadow of doubt, the best Tiger Moth available and the best complete package I've seen. I look forward to more releases

Yeah he's done a fine job Dave. Not being a proper simmer  I spend a lot of time outside in spot view so the back-seat-lack-of-vision doesn't bother me too much.

Just use the 'A' key while in the cockpit to move to the front cockpit

I'm enjoying this one so much, I thought I'd have a go at repainting it. Painting of any kind isn't a strong point with me, so I don't know how this will come out, but so far using the excellent paint kit supplied I have this

The original is here http://www.airliners.net/photo/De-Havil ... 0872419/M/

There's lots of detail missing, the red edging around every surface for example and the nose needs quite a bit more doing.

Does anyone know what the font for the registration is, it's very square and appears both sides, top and bottom?

Comming on :)

For registrations I often use Euro Style bold....but you need to change the proprtions usting the type tool.

Thee is no proper registrtion font without modding as the letters were masked up and painted on by signwriters.

I asked the same question a while ago for my BA Swallow model, some links here:

RAF_WW2_641ATH seemed closest for my purposes.

There is a DH82A available that has strakes and a tail skid. It was originally an FS2002 model which worked in FS9, then it was modded for FSX.

The original post was regarding the model by ANT, and would you believe the Reg on this one?

If anybody is interested http://www.homepages.mcb.net/bones/

When I left the RAF in 1960, I worked at Fairoaks for a while. We had four Tigers, and I can't remember seeing any strakes or tail wheels. I've sewn several wing sacks, and I'm certain they didn't have anything other than plain leading edges.
