I have found using the highest resolution on the desktop gives a crisper picture as the monitor is designed to run at that res, just match FS to that, try the higher setting you will see a difference

Hi Tony, if I set my resolutions higher for my monitor the icons and writing become very much smaller and difficult to read.

Yes I know what you mean I have to use my glasses all the time now
Not sure if you can increase size of Icons...maybe someone will know...?

Nigel you wally.. right click on the desktop and select properties. A window will open allowing you to change the font size and icon size (appearance)
