That Husky has got pretty big sidelights, but there's nothing showing on the vehicle at Wisley.
Nobody mentioned the Dormobile, which was a well loved motor in my life. Driving along with the doors open. No seat belts. Did I worry?
The last time I saw any activity there, was when it was used for the New York to London air race back in 1969? I think it was from the top of the ESB to top of PO Tower.
There were Victors parked on the peri track at the Black Swan end of the runway. Also some Phantoms. There were some hair-raising moments as the pilots braked very hard on landing, and race participants ran to Helos for the trip to Battersea. I believe burst tyres were the norm.
It's surprising what memories you can dredge up when you call on the old grey matter. Happy days!
Dennis.

Not the front of something - the
back of something ...
Look on the enlargement of the cars a couple of posts up. It's the boot of a sports car ... but
what sports car????
Here we go again! MGA? Austin-Healey 3000?
No - something older and more classicer I think

He was waiting for this fellow
mine, out of the same litter, but lighter build. On walks, that big bugger used to pick a fight with another dog then fly back to us. Mine then tookk over, "you picking on my mate?" At home, if I said to mine, Are we going for a walk?" he ran to the gate, but if I said, "Are we going for a pint?" he ran and sat by the passenger door of the car.
Sorry for the hijack.
