Mine is a 2.66 Ghz dual core and the E8600 is a 3.33 Ghz Dual core....and the price is different.... :roll:

I would go for Techy's chip and memory as you can always go quad later when the prices drop

it will be far cheaper and you only need a motherboard then and a decent heatsink like i suggested if you want to OC.

Make me a good offer.......the Ram is dirt cheap at the mo.....prolly around the 100 quid mark for the CPU... :dunno:

Let me know Tony.... :cpu:

Oh and i run it on a ASUS P5KE Deluxe board with artic cooling.....may be upgrading that also.... :worried:

So what price would you be looking at for the lot and have you o/clocked it and if so what level did it run stable??

I have never really pushed it hard Tony....maybe upto 2.80 Ghz...all stable...but chickened out.... :roll:

Hmmm.....prices.....lets say 100 quid for the chip....30 quid for the 4 gigs....£12.50 for my daughter...oops wrong site..... :worried:

OK all in price to you....but not with my artic cooler or my 1100 watt gaming PSU.....£180 sound good..?

I have the discs and manual and boxes for everything.....lemme know..... :000:

Yes your right, no offence mate I do appreciate the offer but I can get a quad core 6600 with moboard 4gb ram for a little more... Things aint what they woz re prices :lol:
