Hi Tony

I reduced the res as posted above but I could come down with some of the other detail

Before I reduced the res is was moving about a quarter length between jerks

Can't understand the file size..... after MM it was tiny but a huge raw so there must be a lot of structure saved in the FRAP clip that is weeded out

After MM it was easier on the eye too...most contrasty less saturated and lighter

I must try some more later.

A few things to try with Fraps:

Record in as low a resolution / frame rate as you can cope with! (Obvious)
Record to a different drive to the drives Windows and FS are using if possible.
Try recording to a memory stick - totally separate from the HDDs.
Try setting Fraps to use only your second core, which may improve performance in the sim.

May help, may not... I've never really got on with Fraps.

Los res already doing

Second drive....don't have :-(

Memory stick...don't have :-(

Dual core don't have :-(

Other than that should all be OK :)
