Am I right in saying your textures are by default 32bit non miped?
No Ben, they originally come with mip maps. Mainly 32 bit, but with the occasional DXT3. Always with mip maps though.

The main thing I dislike about no-mip textures is the wobbly shimmering I see with them in the sim. The extra sharp look would be ok if it didn't wobble about so much.

Cheers David. Re downloaded the 10 tonight after a system rebuild the other week... and very nice indeed... mips and all!

Success! Resaved it with mips and the jagginess is mostly eradicated. They are a bit blurrier than usual, around finer details, but I can live with that more than jaggy edges, so I'm pleased with it. Now I've just got to do the same for the rest... :worried:

Thanks for the suggestion!

Have you tried the zooming in then back out to see it that cleans the blurr up?

The zooming doesn't really do much, but the blur isn't as noticeable on certain paints anyway, so I'm satisfied with the appearance now. :)

Great :)

The blurr is odd

The DC 6 I posted yeserday is one extreme but with DM's stuff the blur is so slight the it is only at extremem angle looking along the fuse from nose on or tail on that is shows.

The image you have just posted is certainly easier on the eye. :tab:
