Hi Guys

19 Squadron 70th Anniversary paintjob.

this one i like

the Huge roundel "I have no imagination" paintjob i hate

but this one does it for me

Regards
Rick
Also an Export model is a possibility with the 4 hardpoint "Combat Wing" and extra flap increment if i can find enough xml tags to be able to add the outer pylons and weapons (not not 100% definate)

Hi Guys

Right this one has just the cammo layer adjusted +10 Brightness & +15 Contrast

Better ?. (first shot was with correct RGB colours but to me looks too vivid in FS)

Rick

I'd say the 19 Sqn special was a little dark, having seen it in person at Northolt.

Here's my take on the colours, and I can assure you it wasn't TOO far away from what you can see in the photo:

Edit: Just seen the improved version and yes, that does look a little better! The yellows in the 19 and the roundel are a little off though. Too light if you ask me.

An extra photo to go by - completely unedited:

Hi Guys

Right tweaked the colour balance to suit shots from Tweek

i think it's about right now.

just need to paint pylons silver to match underside & shrink fuselage roundels to correct size.
sorry three shots as i couldn't decide which :dunno:

Rick

Nice :) Love the self-shadowing on the engine intake :)

Hi Jonesey

thats actually my painted on shadowing in the intakes as the FSX built in self shadowing doesn't go dark enough for an area like that.

rest is self shadowing though

Rick
colour near enough for me now

Probably about as close as you're going to get it, Rick. Camouflage is always a bugger to get right!

If I'm going to nit pick, the roundel yellow would probably be better as... well, Roundel Yellow  http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/page-RGB-colors-UK.html
