Ouch, was affraid you would say that!
had some problems with SP2 so removed it. Had black squares around runway lights and some stutters.
I'll try it again and see if it fixes the sounds.

I read a story about the Beaufighter, possibly from Flypast magazine.
There were a few fatalities when the Beau first entered service and started to become known by RAF pilots as a widow maker. At one particular airfield that had lost several pilots a replacement aircraft appeared overhead and proceeded to perform an aerobatic display with loops, rolls, stall turns etc. After the aircraft landed the based pilots rushed over to see who this mythical pilot was. Obviously some top brass from Fighter Command showing off. When out stepped a diminutive lady from the ATA.
After that there were no more complaints.

I would like to download the Beaufighter ( by Dave Garwood )for FS9.
Was there a FS9 Beaufighter by Dave Garwood, an older version, not the same as presented for FSX I mean.
Where can I find this bird?
Please help.?

Best regards

Leen de Jager

ps
Just another question.
The screenshots taken from the beaufighter ( on this website) show bumpmapping.
I downloaded the beauFSX.zip and did not find any bumpmapping files in the package.
Nevertheles I like the plane very much , but with the bumpmapping I would be much nicer.
??

Hi Leen and welcome :)

Unfortunately, there is no FS9 version of the Beaufighter. Dave Garwood is modelling exclusively for FSX now so has, sadly IMHO, left FS9 for good ;-)

Thanks pal.

Do you have any clue about the screens showing bumpmapping and the download missing bumpfiles?

Regards

Leen

As you can see the shot shows bumpmapped rivets.
The texture however not, wich is normal , when there is a bumpmapfile.
The download however, has no bump files

Hi Leen

There is nothing missing in the download

But since you are FS.9 it surely does not matter :)

As you can see on the picture above , the screenshot shows bumpmapped rivets.
The download does not contain any bump-files.

** as I am " Bi-simual" I use FS9 and FSX as well.
