[quote="kikko"]The biggest mistake done by Microsoft is the incompatibility with their previous platforms.quote]
If anything kikko, FSX production has ramped up over the past few months, and what is interesting is that the demand is being driven by new simmers who haven't used FS9. there is almost certainly 18 - 24 months left in FSX so expect to see more new FSX only models over the coming moths.
to be honest, the lack of complete comatibility with FS9 was a brave move. much of the way things were done in FS9 were at the technical limit, so a change was very much necessary to ensure the sim developes for the future.

Re: Stratocruiser on the way
Nearly there now chaps.

Made with Accu-sim, full engine mangement suite, working turbo chargers, oil temps etc etc, all bundled together in such a way that if you don't watch out they can come back and bite you in the backside, or like me you just end up trailing blacksmoke everywere stalliing and only ever getting as far as London from Heathrow. Re: Stratocruiser on the way
This aircraft interests me quite a lot Lewis and it matters not that it's a Boeing. However.. it'd be a serious 'plus' if your screenies here showed her wearing BOAC. Leave the Northwest screenies for sites on t'other side of the pond ;-)

Re: Stratocruiser on the way
In Firefox at least you can right click on the image, select 'View Image' and the whole picture appears in another window, which I think is a nice compromise between limiting image size and having to scroll left and right in a thread because someone posted a 1080 wide image.....and an 800 pixel width restriction violation as well.

Re: Stratocruiser on the way
sorry about slightly too large image, I visit so many sites with there own rules I sometimes forget which one I'm on, plus I thought 1024 was now somewhat of a standard for image size as everyone has moved beyond the 1024res and into the 1200,1600 era what with crt's now being somewhat dead on the home pc market. That is kinda an interesting area, I do wonder what everyone is running.
airboatr, the pun is quite bad, any chance your Gary in disguise?
CHEERS or have you just been borrowing his 'big book of potential internet puns'

Hi Lewis
You slipped in while I was posting
Yes a lot of site alow wider and they certainly cause problems with my set up.
800 is wide enough.....how big does it need to be???
I am running 1280 X1024 and it is not clipped off but is hard over to the edge
