Yep, all layers should be flipped for DDS. I usually flatten any layers, then flip the whole image in Photoshop before saving as DDS. Don't know which paint prog you are using.
I've flipped them on my copy of PS915, here's the modded textures: link removed (I've also removed the mipmaps on these)

Very, very nice paintwork indeed. That last shot looks very realistic. Well done indeed sir!

On the subject of Spitfires, anyone know if there is a freeware LF.16 out there?

For those who havnt

Instead of posting a new repaint at the pond I have just replaced the original with the new one, so if you want to say
byebye blurries, please just download again and overwrite :)
