Neil,

you should probably just try this:

http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?Ca ... 1&Cookie=1

Uses Nick's AI jag model GR3 and T4, cant go wrong.

He's obviously made a complete prat of himself (easy to do) Andy as he never told us what he'd missed. My guess is.. he either entered it in the aircraft.txt but didn't enter it in flightplan.txt or.. made a flightplan for it but didn't enter it into the aircraft.txt. There's only so much you can do to 'F'-up a traffic file.

Whatever.. he sorted it without using a 'Pack' so has his Jags as he want's them.. not as someone else does ;-)

Hi gents

i have been working over the past few days, so unable to get much on....

just thought i'd let you know what i did wrong, as NOT to make myself look to bigger PRAT!!!! :o STUPID
TTools was my problem, and it was the size of the parking slot...

eg i had it as MIL-COMBAT as required, but the size was only 10m when it needed to be 12m i also found thats the parking size for a T2 or T4 was again slightly bigger than that. obviously a simple mistake, but i aint no pro, thats the reason i asked for help.

i did say thanks before to the gents that helped, and again my reason for using the ALPHA Jag is so i can get varied paint schemes and loads for the Jag as there are more available than for Nicks awesome AI, in fact i have Mr Ito's model as well, again more paints etc....
neither have any effect whatsoever on FR. so im greedy and have 3 AI jags now......! CHEERS

Thanks you again for your time and help.

Neil

Thanks for the report back Neil

Useful information as you won't be the first of the last to be caught out by that

So.....size is important ;-)

Cheers Neil ;-)

I did say look at parking didn't I :bandit: There is ALWAYS a reason for something not working.. some obvious and some not so obvious so you have to keep chipping away until it does work :) I sent some AI Grimnods up to Kinloss a while ago (the default scenery) and they showed very nicely until takeoff time. The lights would come on and the aircraft were active but after a minute, they disappeared! :o M$ had kindly put parking slots in the scenery but no nodes to enable the aircraft to get from them to the taxiway (or something ridiculous like that) :brick: A day wasted until I twigged what it was causing the problem :doho:
