There's a very good reason I didn't post a landing screenie, Tony. I haven't managed a landing, yet :roll:

I thought I'd be clever and show you a helicopter landing instead. But I'm crapola at that, too :-(

I like the video of the Baron landing at Courchevel, I'd like to do that myself one day, who wants to loan me a Baron ;-)

Here is the small 'Altiport' near Val Thorens, just an hours skiing from Courchevel. You can see the runway sloping away in the second shot, same as in Courchevel the landing is one way, take-off the other. I've only seen Jodels and a Piper Cub (all on skis) using it, I wonder what's the largest type that could land there, I don't think you can go much larger.
