I found this http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=38921

FS9 install has reached it's useful life, as it has become an over bloated whale
looking for some help off the beach and back into opens seas again

Hi Tony....
one or the other, either.. or :dunno:
nHancer has helped a bit . I get a much smoother scenery the frame rates are better
but , I'm not convinced it will fix everything
....... it's worth a try, but creat a system restore point (like I did,)
off to tweak it tighter than a snare drum

as they say in the rocket industry

it's gonna go up or blow up

Hi Tony. My system doesn't give me blurries. So if it's any help this is what I've got. FS9 using default scenery only. My graphics card is an Nvidia 8600M GT with 256Mb dedicated memory. The processor is a core 2 duo 2Mb and I have 2Mb RAM. OS is Vista Home Premium. The graphics driver is 7.15.11.138 dated 06/06/07. The Nvidia Control Panel has pre-sets (over-rideable) for most major PC games including FS2004. Mine is set to default which has AA application controlled. There are two other AA settings shown in the pre-set. AA Gamma correction is ON and AA Transparency is OFF.

Hope this helps :dunno:

Another Ian here just to confuse Joe

Similar system to Speedybird but running Windows XP and Nvidia drivers 163.75.

But, what are the "blurries" - would I know if I had them?

Anyone else have an ATI card with this feature and is there any benefits of using it?
Should work fine (although the fans might get louder!), but you probably won't see a great improvement in FS (be it 9 or X flavour). CPU power is almost always the limiting factor.
