CB thabks for the link I will go for the 8600GT as I do not need to worry about the power supply lead you mentioned and as its DDR3 it will be much better than I already have at a cheap price! Now then...memory will have to look at that now

went to OC and bought the card 8600GT with 256Mb DDR3 memory along with 2Gb of ram all for £130!! I will get half that back when I sell my 1gb Corsair ram!
witha bit of luck..well thats what I will tell the missus plus the other 2 video cards I have at present will also go on Ebay

Well had chance to "play" a little and to be honest I am really pleased, I upped the RAM to 2Gb from 1Gb at the same time and obviously this has helped run my mamoth FS9 file!! The card has given smoother graphics better quality no pauses like before as memory was in and out, the frame rate does not seem to have gone up much at all but I was having good frame rates before. It is however more stable rather than bouncing up and down. So I guess I am ahappy bunny xwink
ps the card comes into its own when I run other games klike Call of Duty2 which can now be run at higher resolutions as well as having more bells and whistles switched on. I think for less than 60 squid this card is a bargain. Cheers CB for the link to overclockers
