There is a whole group of experienced beta testers on this forum, but if they imployed us, they would sell an awful lot less products Still, one cannot help but think a days (independant)testing, will save a lot of posting on the 'help' forum ;-)
It's difficult to imagine how the fuel system on the He111 wasn't noticed either mate. After all, one of the major ingredients of powered flight is FUEL You will not be surprised to know that NO ONE at Alpha ever owns up to being a beta tester. They gladly accept the kudos but the parapet gets mighty high when the shells start coming over. Trev has probably hit the nail on the head in saying the VC was in bits a few days ago and here it is now.. released. Same happened with the Blenheim. Knock em out fast and furious!!
As you say quickly knocked out....and that always shows.
I'm trying to be kind in my above post but tbh there are numerous issues all along that should just not happen.
I hope they take note and it would be easy enough to get beta testers..........folks would do it for just a free copy and so they would line up and have the chance to pick the best half dozen or so.
The answer is clear and easy
They know this...which makes it all the more odd

Like a lot of Alpha releases the model looks stunning but I'll just wait and see what the first patch addresses and if the various reported issues get fixed. I notice one guy who made a post with lots of constructive criticism in it got the door slammed on him pretty hard by Alphasim and the thread was locked, I can't seem to find it now (apparently deleted?) but although it might have come across a bit harsh in tone I remember thinking it was a fairly reasonable post at first.
Being payware Alphasim should take the citism and not slam up or delete
They take the money and yet seem to feel that critism is unjust as it would be in freeware,
They take money they have an obligation.........if it is not right then that is not the customers fault.
What if a high street shop behaved like that?
I hope they do take heed as they do produce, or at least go a long way to produce cracking stuff.......they just don't seem to take the time to finish it properly.

Garry, on the whole they are pretty receptive over there; my comments about the Javelin got us a version 1.1 with a larger selection of variants and DB's comments about the Blenheim were addressed (eventually) - mind you they made it clear that a fighter version of the Blenheim would not be forthcoming!!
These days it does take a fair bit to get slapped down on their forum (both DB and I have tried ;-) ), probably about on a par with here. And if you want to argue about that ....... ;-)
We don't all take the Kudos and leg it when the smelly stuff arrives , in fact some of us take the smelly stuff where no Kudos will ever be garnered.
I wont defend the indefensible, but then l wont stand for overly large brushes applied to some that are innocent. If any one has an issue with my work then please label it as such and l will endeavour to help and fix, but will say that with the best will in the world it can only go so far and then others are involved who might not agree that help is required.
I will also say that issues spelled out here ( in these forums ) are indefensible, as to why or how they occured....I honestly dont know as l wasnt involved and thus can stand above the parapet and watch the smelly stuff pass me by LOL.

This is why I feel it would be so much better if everything went though a set team as then those who do produce outstanding work will not be let down by those who perhaps fall a little short.

I think Alphasim should be viewed like B&Q, on one shelf we have Ronseal shed sealer on the other we have B&Qs own, rather than viewing Alphasim as something like Marks and Spencers where all products are theres, there more a whole saler I think its fair to say.
Now its up to users to decide if there getting Ronseal at B&Q prices or B&Qs home grown at Ronseal prices and that is something that individual and subjectively personal.
