Hi Ed,
Echoing Rick's words, a very nice vid, in fact one of the best I've seen. Nicely done indeed.

Yup.. agree with that 100% ;-)
I actually went and bought it (Edinburgh Extreme) last night but have yet to install it. I'll get around to it soon ;-)
EDIT Installed it this afternoon and am very impressed. Didn't install the statics as I don't want them messing up my rather older AI. Not sure I should have installed the traffic(ground) as it makes the airport often look like a race track but this can be sorted. Lot's of things to see, lovely buildings and ground textures, no tearing.. a step above Glasgow IMHO. Framerates are excellent.. better than the stock Jersey and Guernsey!! If only all his airfields (especially the CI) were to this quality. I'd bin FSX in a second and use the 500gig HD for a fresh install of FS9 ;-)

Hi Ed.Brilliant Video.Heathrow or Gatwick to Edinburgh is one my favourite flights but I usually use the LDS 767.What were you using for ATC voices? The Edinburgh scenery that I use is by Ian Gallacher.Best Wishes EricT

No.. and considering Peter uses 'Application Controlled' for AA.. my guess is the monster system and 21" Diamondtron monitor have something to do with it

Hello Eric, I used to use Ian's EDI.... but I really like Gary's new EDI.
I use default ATC ...accelerated and europeanised by editvoicepak. For the video I simply editted out the Captain's voice and repeated what was said using my own voice spoken through a walkie talkie!
If the only thing that MS had changed in FSX was to make ATC have different accents in different areas I would have been a happy man! ...as is my copy of FSX is in pristine condition but gathering dust alongside a copy of FS2000.
Hello Tony, 'tis true Concorde has been moved....but in my virtual world I wanna see Concorde! :yipeee:

The OLD radar? Good grief, I remember when it was the NEW radar! Edinburgh didn't have radar at all until the late-60s when it was installed to help with the increased traffic numbers expected for the 1970 Commonwealth Games.
I still remember the headline of the 'Flight' article. It read, "Edinburgh To Get Radar For Games". That caused a great deal of hilarity within the ATC community for many months!.
