Hi
almost there.
I'm missing aircraft_fsx.cfg in the base pack? (You refer to it in the install instructions.)

Hi Dan,
I brought this up too but Tony has confirmed that they are one in the same for this model ;-)

OK, but that is apparently not the issue for the E3-C model...?? Not that would know the difference....

I'm just going with the same flow Dan

I have it up and running in FS9 (and it looks great) but see chrome textures in FSX :o Can't imagine a different aircraft.cfg would make any difference in the grand scale of things but agree that the readme's can be a bit misleading.

I see a lot of aircraft has two model configurations, one "reflective" and one "no_refl" or something like that... guess it has something do to with the way the model is compiled.

It would be a different model
The only difference in the config I would think, would be to point the model line and texture line to the different mdel and texture set.

I'm not sure about the texture set, but you may tell me otherwise.
The places I've seen it, is for the AI-models, some of the repaint I'm using are quite old, but looks very nice on a non-reflective model in FSX....
Btw. In my set-up CTRL+W
is the way to give the E3-D an erection.....
Dave: You could pay the menu a visit; Options-Settings-Controls --> Button/Keys Tab --> All events --> 5.th from the bottom is the key-control for the Water-rudder

The reflective would need an alpha channel
The alpha alters the tone of the base colour.....it lightens it
So there would need to be a reflective set with alpha and a non reflective set with the base colour reset to look right without the alpha.
They could do it with the one set but it would not be so good.
