Jump in the queue, Nigel! The anticipation of this release is killing a lot of people, me heavily included. Last I heard from Paul, is the model list has grown to include a LOT of variants within the major marks, i.e. several B.6 configs, B(I) configs etc. and we also have two versions of the SC.9 added into the list. It's pretty comprehensive and should keep us painters busy for a while

I know he's building the panels and .air files right now, so release should be around the corner. And I fully agree, these models looks superb and fully credit Paul's excellent modelling skills.

I am begining to find this designers methods a little odd, he has made some brilliant variants, but why, oh why wait and release them all at once. Not even the most ardent Canberra fan can fly more than one variant at a time :dunno: Releasing them over a few months would also allow a little feedback (from ex-Canberra pilots) that might even improve things.

Well Trev, I'll take full responsibility for any frustrations you and other users might have over the release. Paul emailed a few models to test out for repainting purposes only, but never made any promises as to when the release would go out. I posted pics on here to show what's coming paints-wise, but unfortunately, they were a little premature! Half of the delays have come from me pestering him for more variants and giving feedback here and there on texture mapping issues, so I will take a big portion of the blame! It all should be worth it though.

As for feedback on model handling, I have no comment there, as he may well be doing something of that nature that we don't know about. It is a shame he is not an active participant on here for those purposes, but that's his decision and I am just a humble painter, and would never assume to tell him what to do.

I'm sure the wait will be well worth it, and any tweaks to .air files or cfgs will no doubt be handled by users on an individual basis post-release

Best,

Steve
