Amazing on how much I use the real world weather download option.

I haven't done a flight since it went down because "It doesn't feel right" somehow

I agree Jonesey...I use it on every flight. I much prefer the convenience of it to FSMeteo etc. Hope they fix it soon

Hi All

No probs when I flew yesterday out of Guernsey for a local flight to Alderney - lots of weather - thunder and lightening around.

Have flown this morning - locally out of Shoreham, more or less reflects what we have here today and tested it on some other random world locations - sunny in Norway and Nigeria, foggy in Kuwait, overcast in Morocco !!

Either I've got lucky or problem has been fixed.

Just for the record, I also have FSX installed, have downloaded but not installed SP1 patch yet (did so but when loading FSX it virtually ground to a halt - that may be because I'd not long de-fragged and then installed the patch - so took it off again - as I'm not flying in FSX too much, and I haven't re-installed yet.

Same the day before I was OK ay first then there were problems.

So just a bit of pot luck....for now at least :worried:

Typical, the flight I wanted to do, I didn't because I wanted real weather.....

...now I can't do it anyway because there is a big thunderstorm over my head

I had the same problem on Wednesday evening (UK) but all ok now. Guess (hope?) it was a short-term glitch.

It does thought happen fairly often if you are unlucky :dunno:

So an alternate would be a good move
