Re: Bristol 170 Superfreighter
Not a very good picture but here she is on route to Jersey from Guernsey on a rush job at night delivering a dynamo and and a set of points for a Morris Minor...

One thing I noticed Garry is that when the landing lights are switched off, there is still a "light flow" from the front of the aircraft onto the tarmac, the wing mounted landing lamps throw there own light out but disapear as they should when the lights go out, cant see where the "nose" mouted light is... mayne me..it has and often is ;-)

Re: Bristol 170 Superfreighter
Hi Tony
The light you see from the nose is the taxy light which should be shining from the wing tips
It's an already known issue if that is indeed the one you are talking about
Turn off the taxy light to see if that cures it
The wing mounted flight don't show up on the ground yet.
I can't sort the lights out until I get rid of a bug that is screwing my night display :@

Hi Garry
Oddly enough the wing mounted landing lights did show on the ground, the centre light which you say is the taxi light, where is that on the model, could not see it?

Hi mate
The taxy lights are on the wing tips.
I don't see any light on the ground with the taxis off, but then but nights video seems to be screwed

Re: Bristol 170 Superfreighter
Anothere thread was started recently but I want to keep it all on this thread please
To get it moving again some progress shots.
I am working through the different models and proper paint jobs now the paint kit has been finalised
The Prototype G-AMWA in it's first flight, pre delivery and delivery livery.
It was raining all day but cleared up jest before sunset giving off a rather nice light and shows off the new silver paint nicely in some shots.
