The Bristol Bulldog MkIIA foxed a few Spotters, but not......
Keith (Dev One)EDIT: or Ben (TSR2)
AllanL said it looks like a Bulldog MkII, "but.............", and went off track, sorry Allan, I did try to help. Having looked at a few photos and drawings, I find that generator on
either wing at various times; why, I can't say.
So Keith is the sole badger this week, congratulations
EDIT, He actually shares that with Ben-sorry Ben.

Oh blast, I've done it again.
Ben also put in a correct answer, but I broke my rule of not replying unless I'm at the computer, with the book handy. Sorry Ben, here's your badge:

The Cirrus Design Corp SR20 was our subject. Externally indistinguishable from the SR22, but as you can see from the fin, it was a "20."
Mick (woody901) was first in, PeteP, Brian (Bridon Bear), Simon (simondix), AllanL and Ben not far behind him.
Well done lads, your badges await:

Aha....Brian explained in his PM that he was getting logged out and the system wouldn't let him post.
This is the problem that emerged about 18 months back, IIRC.
Seeing as we can't even type a post or PM without being logged in, HTH does the software decide that we're NOT logged in when we hit SEND ?

Hello Keith - three PMs I sent to Mike last week. Should really have sent them to Ben.
PM Login hassles
Sent: Wed Oct 09, 2024 06:37
From: emfrat
Recipient: Airspeed
I have been getting the same, but it seems if you login, tick Remember Me and then go to PMs it will let you create and post.

PS I told this one to preview and submitted that, and off it went.
PM logout hassles

So then I clicked Logout and it told me I wasn't logged out becos the request did not match my session. I am sure Ben will know what that means, I certainly don't. BTW, I am still logged in and so far no probs posting this'un.

Logout hassles (Part 2)

OK, I had gone from PMs to the forum and tried to logout from the forum, which is what produced the 'request did not match' error. So I tried to logout from the PMs menu and that worked. It looks like entering the User Control Panel creates a second session in parallel with the one from entering the forum. Computers only have one brain so they are easily confused by that sort of thing
