Hi Dave
I was given this on my Birthday 3 days ago
Micro Twister Ninja

sorry phone pic in dark room
it flies really well but only indoors as its IR
hovers almost with no hands
I fancy the twister sport next as it's 2.4 g and single rotor
Regards
Rick

Thats cool but £10 more than the twister sport
http://jperkinsdistribution.co.uk/ in helicopters
IR control is great till someone presses tv remote
then it falls out of the sky

Rick

Hello Mate
Yup.. it looks a bit bigger too so maybe that's where the extra money comes in!

The vid I watched the other day was much better but it's now gone and the shop concerned was asking close to £80 for it
Not struck on IR control either. The little micro I have has so many lights on it, if they were taken of, I bet the flight time would increase by a couple of minutes!
Heyyup.. I'm charged again so it's off to annoy the wife

Well I don't want to feel left out.
Not as posh as yours Dave/Rick.
Had this little fella for about a year now. eBay special.
Basic and fun. I think this is why I opted for a champ and where it all started.
Great buzzing around indoors. Good tool to teach yourself coordination and control too.

Posh.. certainly not
I tried the heli outside today and the slightest wind has it off and outside the IR range. It makes the Champ seem like an all-weather model
Talking of the weather.. it's not so bad here at the mo so I'm hoping it's similar or better where you are Eddie. Looking forward to some camera shots from the Radian

I can't tell you how frustrated I am Dave.
Wind is still gusting. Dammit!!
Tried the radian again this morning. Managed about three minutes.
It's just too unsettled to get a decent flight in. Especially with it being new.
On a good day Battery time should be in excess of 30 mins if I'm careful.

I've just had a look at the forecast for the next few days (for what it's worth) and we should both have nice sunshine at 0700 in the morning. However, winds are 11mph and 10mph respectively. Dunno if that's too much for the Radian.. definitely too much for the Champ! Sunday morning is looking better.. 5mph and 4mph winds respectively and more importantly NOT RAINING!
I just tried the heli outside again and I can say with full confidence that they're really NOT designed for outside

It suddendly shot up to about 20feet and I was hands off at the time. I had visions of climbing fences to get it back

What all this means of course is that I need something else.. something capable of intermediate weather that I can fly in the back garden when it's too windy for the Champ

Nah.. I couldn't stand anything else arriving at the door SWMBO knows nothing about

Hi Dave,
You need one of these, they will laugh at the wind

Don't forget that the turbine is extra

You need to take up my old hobby when it's too windy for the RC stuff Dave...kite building and flying! Although that can get expensive too when you are building kites 14ft across by 6ft tall. Sport kites are not much better when you take into account the cost of the special lines and carbon fibre frames.
