Faithful Annie, Avro Anson, you got it :agree:
Brian Franklin, PeteP, Mick (woody901), Myles, Simon (simondix), Keith (Dev One), Joe (blanston12), Ben (TSR2) all got it in one go.

Eric (Tomliner) scored gold.

Thanks everyone.
You may find the odd photo of an Anson if you look hard enough on the web.
Cheers, Mike.

Too good for me this week Mike but not only am I puzzled by the aircraft type but also by the caption "PITOT TUBE ON PORT WING" which, to my aging eyes, appears to be pointing to an object on the starboard wing. :dunno:

I was similarly puzzled by that, Pete.
I promise that I didn't reverse the image.
I think that the port wingtip was omitted on the page due to another view overlapping its space. The book was intended for modellers, so it was probably positional info for users.

The elusive airframe was a Douglas/Northrop A -17A, or to be absolutely precise, the drawing was the export version, designated 8A.
