I thought it was Little Rissington aswell but after looking deep into the internet, various sources say this :-

RAF Little Rissington 1946-1976
RAF Cranwell 1976-1977
RAF Leeming 1977-1984
RAF Scampton 1984-1995

Scampton it is then.

I'd found references to both Cranwell and Scampton but couldn't find dates. Can't remember where I got Little Rissington from now! A few hours is a long time
