My pleasure.

Haven't got the model yet - am availing myself of some other PC Aviator goodies - but will likely get it in a few weeks.

cheers,

dl

I hope Pete looks in.. I think there's an error in the readme. The blurb says you move all the textures from the base folder to the 4 repaint folders then you move the 3 folders to your aircraft folder.. 3?? I put all 4 in and hoped for the best

MORE MORE MORE please Peter

Yep, you put all four in - or just whichever ones you want. I settled just for G-AOSO. And yes...more please, Peter.

Ha Ha Dave, you got me there! Originally I was going to issue three paints - OSO, OTH and RGH. I then noticed that the Air Schools emblem on the rudder of OSO was higher up than the other aircaft so I moved it and changed OSO to OSN. I then thought 'Oh bugger it I'll issue OSO as well'. I thought I'd changed the readme to cover it but obviously I missed that!
I am about to upload the Classic Air Force G-APLO. The aircraft was originally going to be painted like the BBMF examples but the Air Ministry refused permission so the roundels and fin flash were overpainted and the civil reg painted on. Aha you say, an easy repaint- just modify the included BBMF one! Er, no - I have relocated the fuselage and wing white bands and repositioned the overpainted roundels. All good fun.
I intend to issue a similar pack of C.O.A.T Hamble Chipmunks eventually, plus the King's Cup winner G-APTS before I start on any military versions. I'll be churning a few out over the next couple of weeks.

cheers, Peter

Thank you, Peter, I've just installed those paints myself and taken one of them up for a quick spin - really good from all angles, looking forward to the others you have planned.

Paul.

You know Peter.. I thought that's what had happened (though not the technicalities of course) :cpu: Most dimwits like me will know what to do anyway

Can I be cheeky and ask if you're going to do WP776 - 771NAS/HMS Seahawk Flight? That's one of my fave paints for Rick's model :worried:

Peter, can you do a repaint or two with lots of silver and Dayglo orange, please ? Don't know why, but I have a thing for vintage RAF aircraft in silver and Dayglo orange. Like this one:

Working on an all-silver base paint. I can then throw on numerous military markings as well as the C.O.A.T versions.
Dave, there is someone already painting a Royal Navy aircraft over at SOH, although it is the one used by the RNHF at Yeovilton not the one you requested.
Paul there will indeed be silver/dayglo examples as I flew in eight different aircraft in these colours when I was in the ATC.
Regards, Peter

Thats great, thanks very much Peter.

I must dig out my ATC log book too - I think its still in a box somewhere in the loft. I sometimes wonder if any of 'my' Chipmunks are still flying. :)
