All look brilliant Dave, you're getting rather carried away aren't you

I need carrying away according to the wife
Am experimenting with various effects for a decent pearl/candy apple look but it sure aint easy. That blue paint looks a doddle doesn't it.. basically 4 blue fills and bob's your uncle. It took around 2hrs to get the skid legs part coloured to match the fuse.. none of the other models/paints are done like this. It's either all or nothing

Part of the skids are on one map, other bits on another! Still.. I know where they are now
G-WHIN is/was a real aircraft though it may not be here these days.. re-registered perhaps. Often seen at Halfpenny Green and at numerous race courses around the country. Alright for some!

Steve..
You made a start on that Nemeth Bo105 D&C yet? I'm sitting here with the model waiting
The old girl was popular with a number of forces back in the day wasn't it. Surprising only one UKPF paint was released for it

Not had a good look at the PK yet so perhaps that's the reason

Hi Dave
Have had a look at the paint kit. Opened in Photoshop and on painting on the Paint Here layer the pink turns to pale blue whichever colour is selected. Is there some magic I need to be performing before opening the paint tins.

Hi Steve..
Ah.. the same as the bloody EC135 then. What I did was create a new layer and paint the 'paint here' areas myself using the pink layers as a template. I never found why whatever I painted on it was absorbed into it not painted on top

Thanks for the hint. I'll take a look at the weekend when not working and ferrying offspring around.

OK mate.. looking forward to it

The D&C paint isn't too demanding.. or shouldn't be with a PK that worked!

Note regarding the Police paints for the EC135
For anyone who downloaded 1 or all of the Police paints for the ND EC135, I noticed an error today. You may not have the error in question but one you will have. The upper cabin (exterior) has some shading that shouldn't be there.. the PK includes this for all models

Anyhoo.. I've removed the offending shading and fixed the error I think only I have.. they were both on the same texture map. The fix is available on the EC135 thread in Repaints below the Police paints. Sri for the hassle

I've today completed and submitted my application to join the National Police Air Service as an observer so who knows, I might be in G-NMID for real soon!
Was my first day back at work after 3 weeks off, I glance on the intranet and see it was advertised whilst I was away and is due in... Tomorrow!
Queue mad panic!!!
