Don't underestimate your wit Dave ;-)

You ARE amongst the experts here.... There will always be some that are more "expertual" than others.

You know a lot about panels, cokpits and general stuff Dave, so in American eyes, that is an expert! I just wanted to give you and Garry a bit of credit too, along with DM. I hope that this spreads the word to the zillion people who think the Project Fokker stuff is as good as it gets. Because DMs base models are not at AVSIM many people have not seen them in any detail, I thought it was time to spread the word to the uninitiated of the FS world.

Thanks Trev

TBH you say about bring DM models to the fore..it is quite obvious on the occasions when the One-Eleven appears in screen shot forums that there are a lot out there unfamiliar with it.

Same goes to other models like the Comet Trident and other stuff as well when questions are asked as to whether any free versions exist.

So hopefully a few will be wised up to DM in general now.

As to my part.....thanks for the mention.....I must say though that it is quite easy to follow on when such a high standard is already there to start with.

Just my bit by trying to give Dave the support for his models he deserves.

The same can be said of all out resident model men.

Gents...modesty is all very well, but I have to agree with Trev's comments about your work, it is well and truly a cut above most of the other stuff out there

Truly well deserved, my favourite of all Dave's magnificent aircraft.

Slightly miffed by the comparisons with the Project Fokker F-28. Looking at the download page it seems there is no VC included as well as a few bugs. I'm sure I saw somewhere recently that Project Fokker have gone commercial so maybe the VC will be payware?

Thanks for the review Trev, super stuff.
Some really nice pics as well.
Traffic on my website is about four times higher today, so it reached some new people.

I notice that someone's already posted some positive comments in the AVSIM reviews forum about the 1-11 article.
He was also wondering how many folks in the U.S. would have the model.
Doesn't always work, but this thing shows the location of the last 100 visitors on my site. Usually plenty of blobs in the U.S.
http://www.sitemeter.com/?a=stats&s=sm6 ... pg=1&v=100
It can be interesting to see the countries that do look in. Notable blobs appeared in China, Mozambique, Honduras & Kazakhstan today.

Always nice to get some publicity, but please don't anyone imagine that I'm ever stuck out in the FS wilderness. Word spreads very wide on the internet.
People searching for the aircraft on Google, Altavista etc. find me straight away. And dmflightsim does usually get a mention if someone asks for aircraft recommendations on the big FS forums.

Any more reviews like this to come Trev?
I do hope so.
