Thanks for the location information Eddie

BTW the saddle height looks pretty normal as the leg should be straight at the lowest point........most people have their seats too low

Cheers Garry,

yep in the close up you can see that the seatpost isn't out as much as it seems. The first inch or so is actually the frame. The geometry of the frames is designed as such so as to give the rider the best possible clearance should they need to ditch the bike and exit stage left.

Which I frequently do!

For the best part of 3K i would at least expect an engine  .

Seriously though, that is a fine bit of kit.

Pete.

I know and there is me budgeting about £1200 for my hardtail!!!

I think that for what I do a full susp would be pointless and all the energy put in from my pins would be lost through the shock.

Exactly, the power wastage is stupid. Especially when flying into a bowl and getting ready to fly out the other side

I don't like to drop hints Robin but:

Yours for £1200 (one without pink pedals though, obviously). I can't sing enough praise for the P7. I Had an all day epic ride the other day and it was comfortable all day long. My mate on his Aluminium Kona had a right sore bum by dinner time. Stick with steel all the way.

It's British too, mostly... sort of...

Nice photos Eddie, will remember to bring my bike if i'm ever up that way.

Any time Rob. Just drop me a line. Although I'm not riding with you if you continue to use pink pedals. :sicky:

I'm afraid you'll have to stay at the back!

Lovely biking country there, Eddie. I'd love to have a day out amongst those hills. I've also been daydreaming about how to spend the £2,600 I've saved by buying my bike instead of yours

I was impressed with the 19th century Mancunian space rocket - well ahead of it's time! Did they ever get it into space or was the coal too heavy?

Peter,
Mountainbike technology is advancing all the time and things are getting lighter and stronger continually. God knows where we'll be in ten years with it all. :dunno:

Ian,
Glad you like the 'rocket'. Believe it or not it used to be a sweet shop many moons ago.
