if you have the money for an all singing dancin machine and you don't mind buying all new add-ons and are happy to spend hours fiddling twiddling and still managed to get over the sliders not being anywhere near maximum then go for it, if your not Rockafella and have to put up with what you have stay with FS9.1 it is a reliable working sim
Just my thoughts on the matter
Is FSX that good!

I do agree with Tony, the stuttering drives me MAD the new patch due soon will give a 20% increase in FR's, but they have said nothing about the stuttering.
Dual cores will now help (after the patch), however I did not buy one for this PC, BECAUSE MS said it did NOT support Dual Cores GRRRRRRRRRR
I still prefer FS2004 (very modified) and only use FSX for things like this gliding article, it does look good here though, if I say so myself

It looks good because you cant see the stutter....
The patch is already causing scenery designer major headaches..ask Gary Summons!!
20% increase in frame rates... another MS "truth pill" lets face it they are going to have to remove something as they spent ages designing this so a "quick fix" seems amazing....
But then again why let the truth spoil a good story

Would that be the same MS that also told us it was backwards compatible :think:Dual cores will now help (after the patch), however I did not buy one for this PC, BECAUSE MS said it did NOT support Dual Cores GRRRRRRRRRR
