Just had a look over on the indispensable duxford-update.info, and there’s a good shot of the Hastings inside Airspace with her newly applied Berlin Airlift colours.

Alex, I think the dim light in the conservation area, compounded by Spec Saver's finest, made the silver paint scheme look like bare metal. What you see in that link is exactly what I saw at Duxford on Saturday. BTW, the wing is not yet refitted.

I think the Dash 7 is one of those aircraft that just
looks right. Clearly a modern airframe, but
four props are relatively unusual, and they hark back to an earlier age. It looks like it can go anywhere and do anything.
