And to add a little current day interest to the 'Faith', 'Hope' and 'Charity' legend, 1435 Flight still uses those three names on it's aircraft to this day, with the addition of 'Desperation' as the fourth name. These days 1435 Flight is the unit charged with air defence of the Falklands BTW.
They also carry the Maltese Cross on their fins to continue their connection with that other beleagured island.
Good old FS9/XP Pro running on my new Dell XPS 710/Nvidia 8800GTX
Considering that Personal Computer World did not rate a 2.8 P4 D820 dual core and an Nvidia 7600 as very suitable for using Vista to run games and multimedia apps, it is going to be some time before my software is upgraded to Vista and FSX.
My current hardware seems fine using XP to run FS9 and multimedia apps

I left Malta in 1980, but my sister still has two of the models.

I started school at the age of 5 in Malta, when my dad was based there...we lived in Sliema. In 1961 there was still a lot of war damage visible, derelict buildings and piles of rubble..and I remember that 'Faith', 'Hope' and 'Charity' were still symbols of defiance and bravery....
