As a 'rule of thumb' (it does differ between aircraft/operators and airports, due to company SOP's, flight manual/Ops Manual performance charts and that sort of thing) a 5kt tailwind is usually acceptable.

The battery's interesting, but the best views of the airfield (imho) are from round the back of either the monument or the Culver Haven pub (the latter has additional attractions :lol: )

The aircraft were landing with the wind. We took off into it. Is a tailwind less critical when landing, Tonks ?
