Thanks, Rick's an Honorary Captain in our VA on the strength of his super models that he himself painted in our schemes for us! He did the external tanks on the original Herald at my suggestion and I sent him some data on them then. A VERY weird shape they are too!

Hi Guys

I think i did model the wing tanks for Kit (Kit Spackman?) & Les at "Albion Air Cargo" about 3 or 4 years ago.

So yes i will be including them although i think only Maritime central/Nordair ever used them other than the prototypes.

But they are there, beware that they don't have any fuel gauges though :worried:

As Fraser does not know i modelled the Herald 200ER version :lol:

There are about half a dozen screenies at the Pond - including a couple of Frasers dynamite cockpit - if not in the news story then in the Screenshot gallery :wink:

She is soooo much fun to fly and so nice to look at

I cannot tell a lie, yes, that was me :lol: And very grateful we were too, having often used the extra fuel for some of our Indian sub-continent contracts. You're dead right about the MC/Nordair Heralds being the only civvie ones to use the tanks, but I think the Malayan Air Force ones had them, although you rarely see them in photos.
