LOL Dave

Im not even sure I could come up with an accurate reg list for Academy
let alone colour schemes I dont think two of their acft were painted the
same - However Cambrian will be nice to see - and prehaps a definitive Skyways Coach Air - lord knows we looked at enough shots
of those while doing the Budgie paint schemes.

and actually he appears to be enjoying himself doing the Dak - amazed at the results from the default DC3 .

BTW John you you going to try your hand at the Argonaut?

Argonaut  Don't push him too far Leif.. I'm sure the DC3's have sent him close to the edge

Agree with a nice Skyways paint. I love that one on the Budgie  Was doing a VA flight in the HP7 a couple of weeks back and I watched one fly out of Ostend .. a Skyways DC3 that is  If you don't have em already, I recommend you download and install Tom Gibsons lovely CalClassic Propliners as that's where the little tinker had come from

You should - I know how hard Garry worked on the Skyways Budgie series - he had me out deep trawling the net for stuff - remember how
we found the Skyways nose shield?

Yep got those AI - Ive seen a Cambrian DC3 in that deck as well - plus a couple of nice Viscount paints

And Im very impressed with what Johns doing with the default DC3

BTW does anyone know why Eagle never flew them?

Ah Skyways

The problem with getting that colour and in the end it turned out pretty much the same blue as on the Dan Air Skyways..which I used to see

Old pics had never preserved the colour properly. So a sample tail was going back and forth to Leif who had seen them real life.

Ah the nosed shield ......ebay coaster or something

Leif did lots of research and found that which I reproduced using a combination of cloning, tracing and re drawing.

I wasn't even sure what it was at first.

Eagle and the Dak pass........since it's as story you know Leif, it might involve a stewardess

Hi,

Uploaded to Avsim and Otters Pond so should be available in due course.

Leif, so many British Operators on my list and I'll probably be 'spent' by the time I finish them. Cambrian and Skyways are on the list, I'd be grateful to get a copy of the nose shield for Skyways Coach Air.
