Anyone ever watch the Original Crocodile Dundee??
besides the rather nice exert of Linda Kozlowski derriere. There is a perfect
anti-blood sports statement where a dead kangaroo returns to life and begins shooting at the hunter...ok - lets see fox hunting should be allowed but only if the fox is allowed to have landmines and semiautomatic weapons

Whatever happened to Hunting Air Cargo? I see it is not listed in 'Aircraft Illustrateds' latest UK Airlines supplement.

They gave up flying and I think just carried on with the freight handling but using other carriers.
Not sure it they faded right away in the end or what.

That's a shame, Garry, as it means another part of the Vanguards history is gone.

They sort of wound down and faded away.
I guess too much competition with the big boys to make it viable in the long term.
They would have also had to invest in newer more expensive equipment.
At the time it was just said they would handle but contract out the flying and that was about it.
No doubt there was a little more to it and those involved would see it differently.
But that was the public face.

It still seems to exist - I wonder if it was taken over? Atlantic Airlines seem to possess their former Electra fleet

Looks like link has stopped working. Basically I you go on companies house webcheck and search for "Hunting Cargo Airlines" with the "previous names" checkbox (only) ticked, you'll pull them up.
